| After
15 years as a wholesale only manufacturer and distributor of coin
machine (jukebox) needles, Edward W Saunders, Inc. ventured into the
retail arena in September 2000. The beginning was quite humble: 5
ceramic phonograph cartridges sold on eBay for a total of $65.00. Our
retail division was born.
From the very beginning, we started getting requests for needles and cartridges that the major manufacturers had long ago discontinued. It was our belief that the inventory was still out there, somewhere, though. After months of nagging and pestering and begging the old line manufacturers, the back rooms and basements finally started opening up. 2001 was spent on a massive shopping spree buying everything we could get our hands on - sometimes as many as 100,000 needles in a single purchase and sometimes as few as 2 or 3. Our goal of being able to say "yes we have that in stock" to every inquiry was quickly becoming a reality. |

Today, we are in the unique position of having ten thousand cartridges and nearly one million needles in stock. Despite that large inventory, we are constantly searching and buying with the goal to ALWAYS have, in stock, what you need. From our distribution centers in White and Cochran, Georgia, we serve the needs of phonograph collectors throughout the US and the World over.Click to visit one of the warehouses Whether you are seeking that "needle in the haystack" to resurrect your old record player or seeking that new, state-of-the-art cartridge for your stereo turntable; you have come to the right place. Our only purpose, the only reason we go to work each day is to help you play and enjoy your records. |
